Meet Patrick Ainsworth Peterkin, a distinguished attorney with a profound commitment to justice and a lifelong dedication to serving marginalized individuals. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Kingston, Jamaica, Patrick’s early education at Penwood and Peniel Tabernacle Basic Schools laid the foundation for his academic success. After excelling in the common entrance exam, he embarked on a seven-year educational journey at Kingston College.

Despite a brief migration period to live with his mother, Patrick returned home, deeply grateful for the care provided by his great-grandmother and a family friend known as "Miss Patsy." This experience instilled in him a sense of responsibility and compassion that would define his character in the years to come.

Patrick’s academic pursuits led him to the University of the West Indies, where he pursued a double major in political science and sociology. Subsequently, he earned his LLB in law at Cave Hill, Barbados, and a certificate in legal education at Norman Manley Law School. It was during these formative years that his passion for the legal profession was ignited as he grappled with profound questions of justice and injustice, propelling him towards a fulfilling career at the bar.
